The bottom picture was taken on the 12th and shows one in its chrysalis (right) and one in position to form the chrysalis (left) as seen by the "J" shape. The one in the middle formed its chrysalis the next day. The pictures above(in the nets)s were taken on the 22nd and if you notice the one by itself is darker than the others. We read that the darker the chrysalis becomes the closer to coming out of its shell.
