The PARTY

The party was for her 5th birthday. We decided on a "sleepover" theme because I waited too long to plan anything else and this was easy...
The cupcakes were decorated in the wee hours of the big day and then the eating area of the kitchen was decorated after lunch. The girls arrived around 2pm in their pajamas ready to PARTY! They played toss the ring on the birthday candlesand pretty, pretty princess (you can see them all "dressed" up in the pictures above). Then we had birthday cake and present time - the look on her face was because she didn't want to be sung to again. After the gifts were opened they wanted to watch Strawberry Shortcake and have me "paint" their nails! So, I did... sparkly blue! Around 4 the girls went home!
All in all the party was great - SMALL and quiet! Who knew girls could have a party without letting the WHOLE neighborhood hear about it?
